There isn't enough room in the mugs for the crystals to expand when frozen so eventually the mugs crack. It usually takes a while for this to happen, for my first mug it took about 4 months to happen but with my most recent one it took 1 month. The mugs are only worth purchasing if you keep them out of the freezer which makes it pointless to even own one.

I bought the cup for my dad cause he's a big BIG Chicago Bears fan and he loved it. Its a big mug and it kept his beer cool lol. Definetly recommend for you Bears fans.
